This project shows a great understanding from Words&Pictures of how to develop youth marketing. As a school it has enabled us to give a realistic industry project to students and inspire education, ambition and personal achievement.

THE CHALLENGE

The Sixth Form College recognised that, as part of a highly competitive post-16 environment, it needed to create a communication platform that would stand out.

THE CO-DEVELOPED SOLUTION

Students told us they wanted an exciting, confident and “edgy” publication to reflect their culture, borne out by their suggestions made in design workshops. The bold headline text and cutting-edge photography in the finished product have not only impressed prospective students, but also contributed to Words&Pictures winning the IoIC ‘Team of the Year’ award for the prospectus – the first time an educational publication has been so honoured.
