THE CHALLENGE
With a variety of interconnected buildings, the school wanted to address the need for a consistent theme in both the newer main reception and the older student reception. The plan was to give the school an overall sense of identity, while at the same time covering large areas of wall and creating a smarter appearance – all on a limited budget.
THE CO-DEVELOPED SOLUTION
Rather than traditional square panels, the W&P team designed bold vinyl transfers to be applied directly to the wall. The transfers varied between one and 15 feet in height – and were easily fitted into the non-standard-size areas required. The results have made the students feel proud of their building again, as well as creating a talking point for visitors.
